New to the BMCS

BMCS stands for Belegarth Medieval Combat Society. Belegarth is an international organization that boasts thousands of players in North America and many more around the world.

Belegarth primarily is a medieval combat sport that recreates armored and unarmed medieval, dark age and fantasy foot combat. Think paint ball, but with swords.

Checking it out

Airdrie BMCS is a very open group of people who love to get to know visitors, answer questions, and explain the game they have come to love.

Visitors are even encouraged to to participate in the combat and loaner weapons are free on first visit!

Spectators are also also welcome! We love to entertain!

To learn more about Belegarth visit the Belegath wiki here or the Strathclyde What is Belegarth? page here.
