BMCS stands for Belegarth Medieval Combat Society. Belegarth is an international organization that boasts thousands of players in North America and many more around the world.
Belegarth primarily is a medieval combat sport that recreates armoured and unarmed medieval, dark age and fantasy foot combat. Think paint ball, but with swords.

Daryl is a farm hand who lives west of Airdrie. His days are spent doing odd jobs on the farm, wrangling chickens, finishing up his grade 9 in piano.
The BMCS is a very open group of people who love to get to know visitors, answer questions, and explain the game they have come to love.
Visitors are even encouraged to to participate in the combat and loaner weapons are free on first visit! Spectators are also welcome. We love to entertain!
Joining Belegarth Medieval Combat Society is very simple, there is no signing up process, no fee and no dues. All participants must have a signed Airdrie BMCS waiver and should eventually obtain their own gear.
